Error message – "A user with this email already exists"
If you are also a board member in the association, it’s important not to sign up with your email as a completely new member. If you do, the system won’t accept it and will tell you that the email is already in use.
Instead, log in with the same email and password you use as a board member. The error message will look like this:
You will see the same error if you have used the same email for something else in Unioo before. In that case, simply log in with the email and password you originally used when signing up for Unioo.
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it here.
Can you be both a board member and a regular member of the association?
Yes, you can be both a board member and an association member at the same time.
Being a board member means you work behind the scenes to run the association—making decisions, organizing events, etc.
Being a regular member means you are someone who benefits from the association’s activities. This could be as an athlete, student, or art enthusiast.
When signing up as a regular member, you usually need to pay a membership fee, which is why your payment card must be registered when logged in.
