Martin Have, CEO

Martin Have is our dynamic CEO and one of Unioo’s founders. He is the kind of person who always brings smiles and positive energy wherever he goes.

Volunteering is in his DNA. In fact, you can still find him jumping around with local kids in Spørring as a gymnastics instructor!

Martin is an entrepreneur through and through, dedicated to making Unioo the best tool for association management. He knows how to navigate the complex landscape of volunteer organizations and is always looking for new ways to make life easier for board members.

But Martin is not just a businessman—he’s also a musician with a degree in saxophone from the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. His creative approach to business development and innovation reflects his passion for music. When he’s not working on Unioo or meeting inspiring association leaders and partners, Martin enjoys performing concerts across Denmark. Music is his sanctuary and a constant source of inspiration in his professional work.

Martin is not just our CEO; he is the heart and soul of Unioo. His enthusiasm and pride in helping Denmark’s incredible volunteer associations spread throughout the entire office.

Mads Carstensen, CTO

Mads Carstensen, our technological guru, brings a strong technical background with years of experience in software development and system architecture. His expertise forms the core of Unioo’s technological foundation.

Mads' skills in software development intersect with his deep interest in online security. This unique combination ensures that all data handled by Unioo is processed securely and encrypted.

He leads daily operations, ensuring that technical development and customer support go hand in hand. Bridging these two crucial areas, he ensures that we continuously develop our product based on user needs.

Martial arts introduced Mads to the world of associations. He steps into the dojo of technology with the same dedication and commitment that he applies to his sport. Mads combines his technical know-how with a deep understanding of business needs and user perspectives. He’s not just a tech wizard—he’s also an empathetic communicator who unites people around an idea and guides them (us!) toward the right decisions.

The decision to partner with Martin in 2020 was an easy one for Mads. It allowed him to merge his passion for people and associations with his technical expertise.
