One of the reasons Unioo assists associations with their submissions is to enhance the security around handling ID and documents. When you take a picture of your ID cards via the link sent by the system, the image is not stored on your phone, but is immediately encrypted and sent to the financial institution. All other data is similarly encrypted and securely handled.

Many financial institutions in Denmark have chosen to collaborate with Unioo for the mandatory reporting, and there are strict security and data handling requirements when working with Danish financial institutions. Unioo is 100% Danish, and no data sent to the financial institution ever leaves Denmark or the EU. This is a requirement set by, among others, the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority, and one that Unioo must comply with.

Our passion lies with the associations we aim to help. We do this in part by providing the board management tool. But we also assist by helping associations collect the mandatory data for the reporting. By assisting associations in this way, financial institutions can optimize their time by not having to manually handle the associations' data. This means they can avoid raising prices for association customers.

While reporting to the financial institution is a legal requirement, the board management tool is entirely optional for your board to use.
