Sometimes a board member may struggle to complete the reporting process due to difficulties with digital tools or because they lack a mobile phone or computer. In such cases, it can be helpful for the board member to seek assistance from others, such as spouses, family members, or friends. Often, however, it is the other board members who can provide the necessary support.
The board member cannot register without a smartphone/computer
The board member receives a link to register on Unioo via SMS and email. This unique link works only for that specific board member’s registration. The link can be forwarded to another person’s email or phone, allowing the board member to access it from another person’s computer or phone. This way, they can complete their registration and even perform the reporting process from someone else’s device.
Once registered, the board member no longer needs the invitation link and can log in to their Unioo account from any device via the website unioo.io, using the "Log in" button in the upper-right corner.
The board member cannot upload identification
If the member is using a computer to complete the reporting process but struggles to upload identification, the safest solution is to use the SMS feature for direct photo capture of the ID. Under the "Identification" section in the reporting process, the member can click "Send SMS link," which will send a link via SMS. This link can then be forwarded to the helper’s phone, allowing them to take a photo of the ID.
If the member has no phone, they can contact us to request that the link be sent directly to the helper’s phone. Since the link is unique to the member and generated from their profile, it doesn’t matter which phone is used.
The board member cannot use MitID
Identity verification and signing must be completed using MitID. If the member does not have MitID and is exempt from digital services in the public sector, they must contact us to be exempted from digital requirements in our system.
Identity verification requires the member to manually enter additional information during the reporting process.
Signing can be done using a finger on a phone or a mouse on a computer. If no device is available, the signature link can be sent to a helper’s phone for signing. This method is only used for members officially exempt from digital services or in urgent cases.
IMPORTANT - Keep profiles separate!
When assisting each other, it is crucial not to mix up profiles. Keep everything 100% separate. Double-check that the system hasn’t automatically logged in another board member before confirming identity, uploading documents, or signing. Mixing up profiles can cause confusion, so stay focused and organized.
