The moderator must sign the minutes in Unioo. Therefore, their name and contact information must be provided in the report. The moderator does NOT need to register in Unioo, upload identification, provide personal data, verify their identity, or indicate whether they are politically exposed. The moderator also does not need to approve the rest of the report.

There must be a moderator at each general meeting. If the articles of association do not specify this, an amendment should be made at a general meeting to clearly state who the moderator is or how they are chosen.

It is legally required to have a moderator at the general meeting, and they must sign the minutes. The requirement for the moderator to sign through Unioo has been established by financial institutions, which are obligated to comply with regulations from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority and the Data Protection Agency.
