As part of the registration process, you’ll need to upload images of your identification documents. Banks typically require a danish health card (sundhedskort) along with either a passport or driver's license. However, there are alternative options. Read more about them here:

Banks differ in what they accept as secondary proof of address.

To check what your bank accepts, click “I don’t have any of the above” on the address verification page.

Whatever appears under this option is what your bank allows.

If your bank accepts letters from SKAT or other official documents (e.g., tax assessments or payslips), make sure the document clearly displays your name, CPR number, and address.

Official documents can be found in e-Boks (mit.dk, eboks.dk, or borger.dk). Documents from SKAT are available at skat.dk. Log in to these platforms using MitID.

For international users, official documents are received through their country’s digital mailbox system or by postal mail.

Who needs to upload identification?

All board members must upload identification—not just the chairperson and treasurer. This also applies to external individuals who need bank access.

Can you use images from apps?

It depends on the bank. Some do not accept photos from the driver's license app, but all banks working with Unioo accept the health card app.
