If you’re getting started with Unioo as an association invited through your bank, the process begins with receiving an email from Unioo inviting you to create an account for yourself and your association.
The email might look something like this:
You should begin the registration process by clicking the blue button that says "Start Reporting."
Next, you’ll go through six steps. You can track your progress in the process using the progress bar at the top.
Step one
The first page you’ll see looks like this:
This is a welcome message, where we briefly explain the necessary work that the person responsible for reporting will face.
Step two
The second step looks like this:
Here, you simply need to confirm whether you are the one responsible for reporting. It’s most likely you, as you’re the one who received the invitation to report.
Step three
The third step looks like this:
Here, you’ll need to enter the association's core details—CVR number, address, and email. It’s important that you register the association's information (not your own) here. You can check the association’s details on Virk.dk by looking up the CVR number, or you can find these details in the association’s bylaws.
Step four
The fourth step looks like this:
Here, you’ll need to provide information about which type of association best describes your organization. If none of the options seem to fit, simply choose the one that seems closest.
Next, you’ll need to enter the number of board members, the month of the annual general meeting, and the number of members the association has. For the member count, you just need an approximate figure—this is to give us an idea if there are, for example, 30 or 10,000 members.
Step five
The fifth step looks like this:
This step is about you and your personal user account linked to your email address. Choose a strong password that is at least eight characters long and contains both numbers and uppercase and lowercase letters. Be sure to store it safely so you don’t forget it.
If you already have a user account with Unioo, you’ll be able to log in as soon as the system recognizes your email address. It’s important that you use the same email address you usually use with Unioo because the system is designed to let you access all of your associations with a single account. The fifth step will look like this if your email address is already registered with Unioo:
Step six
The sixth and final step looks like this:
This is the final step in creating your association. Here, you must accept the terms and privacy policy and decide whether you want to receive updates about features via email and SMS.
Afterward, click the red "Create Board" button, and then the real work of reporting can begin.
