The three tips

  1. Patience

The reporting process can seem time-consuming, but it is necessary to comply with the legal requirement regarding associations. Take your time to carefully go through the process – it will help ensure that everything is reported correctly.

  2. Be thorough

Read everything carefully before clicking "Approve" or "Next." If something is wrong or missing, it can delay the process, as it may be necessary for the entire board to sign again. If you simply click through without reading what you're agreeing to, the bank may reject the report, and you will need to make changes and sign again. Ensure clarity on who is assigned authorizations to avoid access issues.

  3. Use the help – save time

  • Follow the instructions in the system – Click on the question marks in the report for additional explanations.

  • Use the help page – Here you will find guides and answers to many questions.

  • Ask the board, friends, or family – If you're having technical issues, it might be helpful to get an extra hand.

  • Contact your bank – If you have questions about bank accounts, payment cards, business volume, or to request a reporting extension.

  • Reach out to Unioo – If you encounter challenges that you can't find answers to on the help page, we're here to assist you.

Remember

Unioo and your bank did not create the legislation requiring the collection of this data The rules for data collection are set by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority and the Data Protection Agency based on EU legislation. All financial institutions in the EU must comply with these rules to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. Unioo is here to make the reporting process as simple as possible for you – and to ensure that association accounts can remain accessible at a fair price.
