The three good tips

1. Be patient
We understand that for some, the reporting task may be unexpected and frustrating. However, as it is a legal requirement for compliance regarding associations, we ask you to be patient.

2. Be thorough
Read everything carefully before clicking "Approve" (or "Next") throughout the reporting process. Overlooking details can delay the process. Skipping through without understanding can lead to the bank rejecting the report, requiring changes and new signatures from everyone. Ensure clarity on who is assigned authorizations to avoid access issues.

3. Use the help
Seek help and save time:

  • Follow the instructions in the system: Click the small icons with question marks and read all the general guidance.

  • Help each other within the board or reach out to friends or family if you encounter technical issues.

  • Use our help page. Keep it handy throughout the reporting process. It also provides information on why reporting is necessary.

  • Contact your bank for questions about the bank account, payment cards, business volume, or to request a reporting extension.

  • Contact Unioo if you need further assistance beyond the system or our help page.

Remember...

Unioo and your bank did not create the legislation requiring the collection of this data about you and your association. The Financial Supervisory Authority and the Data Protection Agency established these regulations based on decisions made at the EU level. All EU banks must follow these guidelines in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.

Your bank collects data in compliance with the law. Unioo is here to help your association gather the necessary data—nothing more, nothing less. By using Unioo, the cost of maintaining an association account can be kept low.
