If you are a board director who has just been notified that you need to sign the report, there are a few steps you need to follow. The process differs depending on whether you have previously been registered and involved in reporting or if this is your first experience with Unioo.

The 9 Steps

Here is a guide with 9 steps to help you through the process:

  1. Create your account via the invitation link by following the instructions in the system. If you already have an account, simply log in. Read the guide for this here.

  2. Once logged in, locate the report. Read the guide for this here.

  3. Now you will go through the section called "On behalf of you." First, confirm your identity with MitID. Once this is done, a checklist of items you need to complete will be unlocked. Some fields may be auto-filled based on your identity confirmation, and others may be pre-filled if you have previously submitted reports.

  4. Complete the first step of the report by providing your basic information. Read the guide here.

  5. Upload your identification (click on "Identification"). Here’s a guide on how to do this. Here is some information about the types of identification you can use.

  6. Complete the "Politically exposed" section. This is usually quick, as most people are not politically exposed. Here is a guide.

  7. Finally, click on the "Approval" section and fill out the requested information. This often relates to marketing consent and the approval of authorizations.

  8. Approve the report (the last section under "On behalf of you"). You will be taken to a page where you can approve the report. You need to open all four documents and review them. Double-check that everything is correct so you don’t sign anything that is incorrect.

  9. Sign with MitID. Here is a guide to signing correctly with MitID.

Once the signature is completed, you are done. Thank you for contributing to the collective fight against financial crime.
