When the association needs to set up its payment agreement to receive membership fees and money from ticket sales, it is often necessary to upload a document showing the association's IBAN number (and preferably SWIFT/BIC).

How?

Such a document can be created by logging into online banking or mobile banking and finding a page where this information is displayed. You can then take a screenshot of the entire page or download it as a PDF. Remember, it’s not just the numbers that need to be captured—a full screenshot of the page is required so it’s clear that it’s from the online or mobile banking platform.

Where?

It varies from bank to bank where you can find this information in online banking or mobile banking. However, it’s often found by going into the specific account within online banking and then either clicking on "Terms," "My Account," "Account Details," or on the three dots in the top corner. Other times, it can be found under "Account Terms," which is often located under "Accounts, Cards, and Transactions" in the menu or within the individual accounts. Finally, downloading a bank statement can also be a solution, as the IBAN is often listed there as well.

What?

Each of your accounts at the bank is assigned an IBAN and SWIFT/BIC number. IBAN is your account's international account number, and SWIFT/BIC is your bank’s international identification. IBAN stands for "International Banking Account Number," and these numbers are used for international transfers. The IBAN number consists of two digits indicating the country where the account is held (DK for Denmark), followed by up to 30 digits. In Denmark, the numbers typically consist of two key digits, along with the branch and account numbers for the specific account (i.e., 2 letters and 16 digits).
