Membership fees
Funds are released from our account every Thursday and will be credited to your account thereafter.
Every Thursday, Unioo releases (sends) the outstanding membership fees. This means the funds can be locked with us for a maximum of one week. For example, if you collect membership fees on a Friday, the money will be paid out the following Thursday (six days later).
NOTE! Be aware that the time it takes for the funds to reach your account may vary depending on the bank. In other words, the money is not credited to your account on Thursday—it is only transferred to you on Thursday.
Ticket sales
Funds are released from our account the Thursday following the event and will be credited to your account thereafter.
Funds from ticket sales are generally released three days after the event takes place and are then set for transfer the following Thursday. NOTE! Similar to membership fees, there may be differences in how long it takes for the money to travel from our account to yours. If you would like to receive the funds from ticket sales before the event is completed, an individual agreement can be made with the association.
About the process
When members pay their membership fees or when transactions are made related to the association’s ticket sales, the funds are transferred directly to a secure holding account.
The amounts are then registered and must be cleared by the acquirer before they are ready for transfer to the association’s account. The time it takes for transactions to be cleared by the acquirer depends on the type of card used. For Dankort (Denmark's national debit card), it’s fairly quick, but for international cards like Visa and MasterCard, it takes longer. You can compare this to how long it takes for a supermarket transaction to be registered in your online banking system. This can also take several days.
Once cleared, the funds are released as described above.
